mission is to actively and collectively work together to develop,
foster and sponsor programs and community activities that raise funds
to enhance our historic 100 year old (plus) neighborhood gathering
place Independence Park.
Founded in 1989, the Independence Park Advisory Council (IPAC) is an organization of civic minded neighborhood volunteers that has helped raise over $320,000 in contributions and grants in support of park improvement. All proceeds raised by IPAC help fund improvements on the property of the park and it's buildings. The Independence Park Advisory Council (IPAC) welcomes new members at any time. If you would like to become a council member join us at our monthly meetings normally held the first Wednesday of each month a 7:00 PM (check our calendar for exact dates and times) on the second floor of the field house. |
